Cyndi Lauper’s “Let The Canary Sing” feature documentary will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival. Announced today, the premiere screening will take place at the Beacon Theatre in NYC on Wednesday, June 14. Following the premiere, Lauper will perform select classics from her beloved catalog. “Let The Canary Sing” is directed by award-winning documentarian Alison Ellwood.

Made with Lauper’s full participation and support, the film will reveal a multi-faceted artist who has reinvented herself “time after time.”
Immediately following the film premiere, Lauper will perform select songs from her beloved catalog on the Beacon Theatre stage.
