Take An Alternative Spring Break With State Radio

At State Radio's two night sellout this weekend at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., Calling All Crows, the band's service organization, announced their 2010 fundraising campaign to support Sudanese women. In partnership with Oxfam America, State Radio and Calling All Crows have set a goal to raise $100,000 through their Trees, Training, and Donkey Carts initiative. Calling All Crows is asking at least 100 fans to raise $1,000 to provide tree seedlings, vocational skills training and donkey carts to women. http://bit.ly/djpWsv

10,000 hours of community service in 2010. That's the goal for Boston revolution rock trio State Radio's humanitarian organization Calling All Crows. In 2009 the group, with the help of over 600 volunteers, logged 3,000 hours of service and donated $100,000 to Oxfam America's Darfur Stoves Project. So far in 2010, the band and their fans have helped clean a beach in San Diego, sorted donations at a Food Bank in Salt Lake City, helped paint a school in Philly and much more.

Here's "Calling All Crows," a song from State Radio's latest album 'Let It Go,' written for their humanitarian organization: http://bit.ly/srcrows
