Judy Blue Eyes

This weekend I decided to do some early (for me) holiday shopping. Being that my family is full of music fanatics, it made perfect sense to hop on over to my second favorite place on Earth, the Princeton Record Exchange (my first favorite place is obviously the Shore Fire office).

I spent a good 60 minutes browsing through the crates & crates of records and began to feel like I was being watched. A piercing pair of beautiful blue eyes were following me every time I perused a new stack of records…

Of course this famous set of peepers belong to none other than the legendary Judy Collins! Female folk singers are one of my favorite things ever, so I was obviously thrilled to find so many of Judy’s records hidden throughout the store. A certain mother of mine is also a huge fan and can be expecting a copy of ‘Judith’ under the Christmas tree this year.

I’d like to close this post with videos of Judy Collins’ amazing version of “Send In the Clowns” (I bawl every time) & her Grammy-winning rendition of “Both Sides Now”…
